Join the Casey Bunch!

We are looking for awesome counselors, campers, nurses, and adult volunteers to join our “Casey Bunch” for one life-changing week this summer at Kiwanis Camp Casey.

What is Camp Casey?

Kiwanis Camp Casey is a week long summer camp for children who are mildly to severely physically challenged and can communicate their needs either verbally or through an augmentative communication device. Camp is held at Lions Camp Horizon in Blaine, WA. Camp Casey is 100% volunteer run and camp is provided free of charge to all campers.

  • Campers: Ages 6-17. Must have a primarily physical disability and be able to communicate their needs.
  • Counselors: Ages 16-25. Assist campers with daily care needs such as dressing, bathroom duties, eating and transferring.  They maintain a spirited camp atmosphere, lead activiites and build relationships with campers.
  • Nurses: Provide nursing care to campers, administer first-aid to campers and staff, and participate in camp activities.
  • Adult Volunteers: Help with all the other tasks that must be done at camp, including cooking, laundry, setup, and cleanup. Volunteers also assist with and participate in camp activities.
